Water-based printing
Water-based printing is a kind of silk screen printing; it features inks that are soft, breathable, and able to soak into the fabric of the garment rather than sitting on top.
Tips: The colour of water-base printing must be darker than the fabric’s colour.
Plastisol-based printing
Plastisol-based printing belongs to silk screen printing too. The ink sits on top of the fabric and feels like a soft plastic layer. This ink can be used on any fabric and is very durable. It is one of the most widely used printing methods.
Puff Printing
Puff printing is a screen printing ink additive that, once heat is applied to the ink, slightly raises from the fabric like a freshly baked loaf of bread.
3D Printing
3D printing, also called high-density printing, is the process in which we use a thick layer of emulsion to create a raised print.
Gold Printing
It is a silk screen print with gold ink.
Silver Printing
It is a silk screen print with silver ink.
Reflective Printing
Reflective ink is a specialty option for screen printing. It requires another light source to reflect the light.
Flock Printing
Flock printing is when we adhere many small fibre particles (called flock) onto the surface of clothing. It gives your designs a velour-like, fluffy texture.
DTG Printing
DTG printing uses a printer to spray the ink onto a garment. It can print whatever graphic you want and carry any details. You can think of it like a giant inkjet printer, but for clothing.
Tips: DTG printing can only print on fabric without silicon oil or ink, which will fade very soon.
Discharge Printing
Discharge printing is the method of applying your design to dyed fabric by printing a colour-destroying agent to bleach out a white or light pattern on the darker coloured fabric. In this way, water printing can be applied to dark-coloured fabric and make the graphic more breathable.
Sublimation Printing
Sublimation shirt printing is a printing process that first involves printing onto a special sheet of paper, then transferring the graphic onto the fabric by using pressure and heat. It is vivid, and the colour can last forever, no matter how you wash it.
Tip: Sublimation printing can only be applied to polyester fabric, or the colour will fade quickly. (The more polyester, the better the printing effect.)

3D Embroidery Words
3D embroidery has an additional piece of foam under the embroidery to give it a raised or 3D appearance.
3D Embroidery Logo
Tips: 3D embroidery is better applied to heavyweight fabric. At least 250 gsm or thicker.
Appliqué (cotton patch with finished edge)
Appliqué is a sewing technique in which fabric patches are layered on a foundation fabric, then stitched with the raw edges turned under or covered with decorative stitching.
Applique (non-wovan patch, with raw edge)
Non-woven patch applique is more noticeable than cotton patch applique. The raw edge brings a vintage feel to your logo.
